When you’ve prepped your heart out for an interview, it’s going well, but then you get asked something that you have no clue how to answer.

Been there done that. It’s not fun.

Here’s my advice for those situations:

✅ Be honest. Don’t try and lie your way through an answer. Honesty is the best policy and shows you are willing to admit your shortcomings.

✅ Take a step back, breathe and think about how you might overcome it.

E.g. if you’re in a tech interview and don’t know how to solve something, tell the interviewer how you think you might go about solving the problem. Explain how you usually go about finding answers to things you don’t know, and what you might do in this situation.

✅ Most importantly? Remember that no one knows everything.

As long as you are honest and show your willingness to learn, you will smash it.
