Meet the candidates you interview face to face!
Post pandemic clients have witnessed a lot if ‘drop outs’
A Drop Out is when a candidates commits to a new role and for whatever reason doesn’t fulfill the commitment.
When we diagnosed the reasons for the drop outs the consistent theme was no face to face interaction. From a survey, we found that 80% of clients did not meet candidates at interview stage.
A lot of clients where performing a quick 25/30 virtual or phone call and offering.
Candidates are then expected to change organisation when a contract is put in front of them.
So if you are a hiring manager looking to add people to your team, my advice is to differentiate yourself and to meet your candidates.
