Data Engineer – Day Rate Contract

Day rate contract with immediate start! Ideally you are rolling off contract, or able to start by the last week in May!
Australian Permanent Residenncy or Citizenship is must have! Offices are located in Sydney CBD & North Sydney with 1-2 days a week required on site.

Working in an heavily focussed Azure environment, your Azure needs to be in tip top shape.
About the position:
- Manage end-to-end delivery, following data engineering principles and best practices
- Design & develop new data solutions using CI/CD best practises within Snowflake/ADF platforms
- Proven coding ability using SQL, JavaScript, or Python (or similar)
- Contribute to the enterprise data and analytics strategy in collaboration with leadership.
- Data transformation & data modelling experience essential along with exceptional communication skills.
- Proven history in dealing with business partners and stakeholders
- Strong data pipeline ability, building pipelines from scratch is a must have
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management practices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain data governance policies and standards
This is a 3 month contract to start, with a near guarenteed extension once new financial year budgets are released.
