Precision Insights

Jul 20, 2021

Sydney is unfortunately well into week 3 of a lockdown with a minimum of another 2 weeks on the horizon.

We have been here before and keeping safe from the virus is an imperative.  The silent challenge that we can lose focus on right now – when focusing on the virus, home schooling and work – is that of our own personal mental health, as well as that of our friends and colleagues.

I was lucky enough to recently spend some time with Justin Langer, the Head Coach of the Australian Cricket team.

I asked Justin how he supports the mental health of his cricketers who have also recently experienced several weeks of living and performing in isolation bubbles overseas.

Justin opens up and also tells us his own personal story as well as the one action we can all take to help each other along the way.

I hope you find this short video useful, stay safe and keep talking. Good luck!

WHAT ARE PRECISION SOURCING DOING TO HELP AUSTRALIANS WHO SUFFER FROM MENTAL ILLNESS?

In partnership with The Black Dog Institute at 10pm On Thursday 26th August 2021 several of the team including myself (the training has very much started) will be walking 110km (in one go) from Palm Beach via Manly and onto Bondi.

In doing so we are going to raise a significant sum of money for the black dog institute and in doing so help our fellow Australians.

You can also get involved by simply;

  • Sponsoring us here
  • Throwing on the trainers and joining the team at some point along the way – contact me to receive further information about the route and journey
  • Sharing this newsletter with your community
